Tokyo Declaration: the founding charter of the APPF and establishes the APPF as an inter-parliamentary organisation. Adopted at the Inaugural Meeting in Tokyo, Japan in 1993.
Vancouver Declaration: established a vision for the Asia-Pacific region in the 21st century, and set the goals of the organisation. Adopted at the Fifth Annual Meeting in 1997 in Vancouver, Canada.
Valparaiso Declaration: declaration on the Establishment of the Pacific Basin Charter on the 21st Century. This declaration also stipulated that the Meeting of Women Parliamentarians shall be held on the occasion of each APPF Annual Meeting. Adopted at the Ninth Annual Meeting in 2001 in Valparaiso, Chile.
New Tokyo Declaration: a reaffirmation of the immutable principles nurtured by the APPF to date and an indication of the future directions for the APPF. Adopted at the 20th Annual Meeting in 2012, which also saw the return of the Forum to Tokyo.
Ha Noi Declaration: marked the 25th anniversary of APPF and set out the future development of the Forum to 2030. Adopted at the 26th Annual Meeting in 2018 in Hanoi, Vietnam.
